Resolution...be a better blogger!

Well, it's not New Year's anymore, but I've had a few people email me to see if I was still blogging.  Things have been so crazy since the first of the year!  Lot's of newborns and mommy's to be as well as many of our baby planners graduting.  I'll be updating the site as frequently as I can...I love for new clients to be able to view many different types of images. 

A few new things for Spring...

COLLECTIONS!  You've asked for them and now they are here!  Your favorite products including gallery wraps, albums and slideshows all together in a number of fun packages.  These are debuting with our new Spring Pricing which is already available (see the site under "details", then "rates" for more info or email us).

STORYBOOKS!  Want all of your images in storybook format?  Then this product is for you.  Lots of choices for cover and book styles.  You can even order one from a 2006 session...just contact us!

Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my 2006 clients!  What a great year it was...I feel so honored to have had the opportunity to be part of each of your lives!  Thank you, too, for the referrals that have been pouring in...must have had something to do with the almost 4,000 holiday cards that we printed in November/December!! 

As a further thank you, I'm honoring 2006 pricing until January 30, 2007.  This is for 06 session orders and those booked for 07 by that date. 

New site

The new site is up and running!  And, as you might have noticed, we are now "Jenn Brookover Photography" instead of "Desing & Photography".  Don't worry, we'll still be doing wall collection, album and collage design, it was just getting too cumbersome to say/spell/try to explain what that part was.  So, no change in service, just the name (and the new logo).  Thanks to everyone who's commented on the new site...the images will be switched out more often so check back now and then! 

As you know if you've had a session with me, I try to let the kids do something fun towards the end (or the whole time if the parents will let me!).  Not only does it give them something to look forward to, many times it gives the best expressions....

New! Favorites albums now available

These little books are darling!  They are leather and match the full size album.  With space for (12), 4 x 6 photos (plus one on the cover), they make prefect gifts for parents or grandparents. If you've had a session in 2006 and are interested in ordering one, drop me an e-mail.  Many people have been ordering more than one for gifts for the holidays.  I'll post a picture tomorrow so you can see just how cute they are!!!

Another note about the holidays...as you know, the cards I design for you are one of a kind.  Once you decide on a card, I do not order that exact design for anyone else during this season.  I have tons of ideas ready for you and some new types of cards that were not available last year as well.

I can't believe the response I've gotten for holiday session requests.  Ok, I'm working on my schedule right now...I hope to be able to accomodate everyone (especially those that requested Sundays!).  A few clarifications...if I have already spoken to you about a specific date, that day is held for you pending receipt of your sitting fee.  If we have talked about a date in AUGUST, please email me with a couple of choices that would work for you and your family.  If we have talked about doing a session at the Missions, please be aware of their new policy of charging $100 for photo sessions, and the fact that this must be set up with them ahead of time (there is a form to fill out as well).  Also, my cutoff date for holiday card ordering will be November 15.  This will guarantee the delivery of your cards by a week or two before Christmas.  Thanks again to everyone...can't wait to see you all soon!!!

Catching up on proofing

This session took place a few weeks ago (thanks guys for being so patient!).  I always come right home and see what the images look like (have to see what I "got"!).  But, it's also fun to look at them with fresh eyes after a bit of time has gone by.  This is the third session I've had with these guys and I LOVE seeing how they've grown!!! 

A few more favorites...

From the last two weeks!  Such cute newborns (and two due this week!!!).  It's such an awesome experience to meet these little guys in their first few days on earth!!  I always keep room in my schedule for newborns :)

Baseball days...

Are upon us!  We're so excited that Ben made All Stars!  We now have practice or a game everyday possibly (hopefully!) through the end of July.  This is what Cody thinks of it all...
